2024 Update

We’re bulldozing our way into 2024! Mild February and March weather allowed us to get started on the demolition of two unsightly, outdated and abandoned hog confinement buildings along the gravel road of our home property. The grove of trees around our acreage also included ash trees that had been infected with disease. We are excited that a new grove is on the schedule for spring as we crunch the calendar to find time to plant 60 trees/evergreens and 100 shrubs amid a lively greenhouse agenda and farm crop planting. While the bulldozer was here, we also had them work at the garden to remove the Austrees around the raised altar that is the focal point of our Sanctuary Garden. We will be landscaping around that area this spring also and look forward to watching that space grow into a more beautiful setting for weddings and special events. This marks our 39th year in business and while the gardens are always evolving and growing in new directions, we often reflect on our progress and are amazed how tiny seeds of ambition and passion have guided us through four decades of garden experiences. We are thankful for each one of you who have weathered the years with us, cheering each accomplishment, celebrating nearly two hundred weddings and receptions, and enjoying the simple joys of nature with us!
